Global Call April 29

I had the opportunity to talk with Yvonne from Detroit and we worked out the plan to send her 7 copies of the RESULTS and the MDGs program for public access tv outlets in and around her area.

I also reported to Allison that we have one person to do on-screen talent for our May public access tv program on the Education for All Campaign. We need one more person for on-screen talent. Got the itch?

Domestic Call April 23

It was just Douglas and I on the call. He was quite pleased at my report of our public forum and the letter-writing. I think next time we get a media sponsor so we get more public there!

Two Antarcticans were walking in the woods and saw some tracks. The first Antarctican said they looked like deer tracks. The second Antarctican disagreed -- they looked like moose tracks. The two were still arguing when they were hit by the train.

Global Call April 22

Allison was quite pleased to hear I would be at the International Conference for two days.

We talked about appropriations. Congressman Loebsack did sign on to the letter asking for $500 million for microcredit. The RESULTS Washington office is working on the appropriations requests now for Senator Harkin's office. They are so helpful! Senator Grassley took the requests over email about six weeks ago.

Education is the new focus for global work. President Obama campaigned on a Global Fund for Education, and I committed to working on a public access tv program on Education for All. Is anyone interested in learning about the campaign and doing the tv production?
